Dallas College and The Commit Partnership Honor Leading Institutions and Partners Advancing Economic Mobility Across North Texas
DALLAS, TX — Dallas College and The Commit Partnership today hosted the 2025 Dallas County Promise Economic Mobility Awards at Dallas College Brookhaven Campus, celebrating high schools, school districts, higher education institutions and community organizations that are driving measurable progress in college access and economic success across North Texas..
The awards recognize outstanding achievement or improvement across four key milestones that support long-term economic mobility: college readiness, college enrollment, college persistence and degree completion.
“At Dallas College, we know that creating lasting economic mobility doesn’t happen in isolation—it takes all of us working together,” said Dr. Justin Lonon, Dallas College Chancellor. “By partnering with school districts, universities, and community organizations, we’re building seamless pathways that help more students succeed in college and launch strong careers right here in North Texas.”
“These awards are a reflection of what’s possible when data, dedication, and deep collaboration come together. Economic mobility is not a solo effort—it’s a shared responsibility. We’re proud to partner with institutions across the region who are working every day to ensure all students have the opportunity to thrive.” said Todd Williams, Chairman and CEO of Commit Partnership.
“This event is about celebrating the people and partnerships fueling progress in our region,” said Eric Ban, Executive Director of the Dallas County Promise. “Together, we’re seeing real movement in ensuring more students succeed in college and beyond.”
